Owen Robert Suter is here!

We are proud to announce the arrival of our handsome baby boy! Owen arrived on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 9:57 p.m. He weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz. and was 21 inches long. He is absolutely wonderful and perfect. I can sit and hold him for hours. I love to watch him sleep, smile, stretch, and hear him grunt. Now I just have to figure out how to slow down time so I can keep him like this forever!

Owen's Nursery

It's all ready for him to come home! He won't even sleep in here for a while though. We have a bassinet for our room. It was still fun putting his room together. Hope he likes animals!

Baby Suter is a BOY!

We are excited to announce that we are having a BOY! We had an ultrasound on Wednesday night, March 25th around 8:30 p.m. Our little guy wasn't modest in the least. He was excited to let us know that he was a he! In addition to the the traditional ultrasound, we also had a 4D ultrasound. You will notice distinct features (arms, legs, and head) in the ultrasound pictures below. We don't want to post photos that will embarrass him later in life!

Our 17 Week Visit!

Today Michelle went to the doctor for her 17 week visit. The appointment was quick but exciting because we got to hear the heartbeat again! The doctor said it was about 140 beats per minute. So, does that mean a boy or a girl? After some research on the internet, I learned that there isn't any scientific validity to the theory. Guess we'll have to wait for the ultrasound to find out for sure! Check back on April 23rd to find out if Baby Suter is a boy or a girl! Look for the pink or blue and an ultrasound picture or two!
